Privacy policy

This policy explains what personal data the forms on marketingresearchreports.com collect, why we collect it, where it is stored and for how long, and how you can exercise your rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). The data controller is the owner of the website marketingresearchreports.com.

What data we collect

When you send a request for a proposal or a quick call-back, the form collects the details you enter:

  • your name, phone number and email address;
  • your company or organisation;
  • the description of your research question and any choices you make in the form, such as report type, market, target group and deadline.

Alongside these, we record a few technical details that help us handle the request: the page from which you sent the form, the country associated with your IP address and the time taken to fill in the form.

If you leave a review, we store the name, role or company, rating and text you enter.

Why we use them

We use your details only to reply to your request: to understand the brief, contact you with clarifying questions, prepare and send a proposal and, if you go ahead, run the project you commission. The legal basis is the consent you give when you submit the form and, once you accept a proposal, the steps needed to enter into and perform a contract.

The technical details help us see which page a request came from and filter out automated spam; a form completed in a fraction of a second is unlikely to have been filled in by a person.

We do not sell, rent or share your data with third parties for their own purposes, we do not use it for advertising, and we do not add you to newsletters or mailing lists.

Storage

Form submissions are stored on Cloudflare's infrastructure, which hosts this website and processes the data on our behalf as a processor. Access is limited to the people who answer requests.

We keep request data for up to 24 months after your last contact with us, so that we can follow up on a proposal or pick up an earlier conversation. After that period, or earlier if you ask us to delete it, the data is deleted. Data relating to a signed contract may need to be kept longer where accounting or other legal obligations require it.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to:

  • access the personal data we hold about you and receive a copy;
  • have inaccurate data corrected;
  • have your data deleted;
  • restrict or object to its processing;
  • receive your data in a portable format;
  • withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting processing carried out before the withdrawal.

To exercise any of these rights, send a request through the form on this website and state which right it concerns. We reply without undue delay and in any case within the period the GDPR sets. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the data protection supervisory authority in the EU member state where you live or work.

Cookies

This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies, and it does not build profiles of visitors. Only strictly necessary technical storage is used, where the site needs it to work, for example to submit a form. Under EU rules, storage of this kind does not require your consent.

Changes

We may update this policy when the website, its forms or the law change. The current version is always published on this page, and significant changes affecting how your data is used will be stated clearly at the top of the policy.
